Hey people! I'm currently a nursing major student in New York, but due to some extenuating circumstances I will be moving to Florida at the end of June. I need some help finding a good nursing program around Port Charlotte, Florida. Please, if any of you out there have any information on out of state transfers feel completely free to reply.
Thanx! :plsebeg:

Edison Community College (which from what I understand was just given the go ahead to run their BSN program) in Ft Myers their is FL Gulf Coast University for a BSN, not sure what ADN programs are available however most colleges down here will only transfer your gen ed class, NUR courses are generally not transferable, you'd have to call the admissions offices for the various schools and ask someone their directly, I know the program I'm in will not transfer nursing classes, how far into your program are you? You may be able to get the instructor at your school to fill out the paperwork for you to challenge the LPN boards, you'd have to contact the FL BON to find out if out of state students can do that, in state students can after they complete so many courses and clinical hours and work as LPN's while they complete school, Good Luck! P.S the housing market for Lee county is pretty prime right now, www.realtor.com put in Cape Coral and Lehigh Acres
