Nursing Student Jobs MD/DC

Hello,

I'm in my senior year of nursing school and I want to work over the summer in a student Nurse position, PCT, or CNA. Preferably one of the first two so I can have the opportunity to learn more from the nursing aspect (not saying I wouldn't from the CNA position, but it seems that the student nurse positions focus on preparing you for the transition also). I've applied to University of Maryland Medical Center and it says my application is under review. Has anyone had experience with their application process? how long it took to hear back or how the interview went, also possibly any insight on working as a student nurse and then being hired on as an RN if they like the work you do? Last, any other hospitals that have good Student nurse programs?
