Hey I'm a nurse in the UK and frequently we get student nurses soing placements in the clinical area. Some of the things they do are funny and scary. Here's a few:
1. A pt on bed rest requested a commode. The student being very diligent got the commode, asked the patient to sit on the chair, put the commode on the bed and assisted the pt to climb atop the bed and sit on the commode!
2. Blood transfusion. A unit of blood arrived to the ward but was still quite cold from the fridge, asked student to warm the blood. The student put the unit of blood in the microwave for two minutes!
3. Enema. student heated the enema in boiking water adn administered it :angryfire

I'll admit this.......
When I was in nursing school....1st year clinicals.....brand new and doing ADL's.... there was this elderly gentleman of about 80 or so with the most perfect set of pearly~whites. I thought for sure that they were false. The man was not really "with it" so when I tried to remove his teeth, all he did was flail about. I even got another student in to help me remove this poor guy's teeth. Thankfully, we figured out that they were, in fact, his natural teeth before we called an instructor or a nurse to the room. :chuckle
