nursing student externships

Hey eveyrone,

I am a nursing student at Wright State in Dayton. I am currently interested in nursing externships for this upcomming summer, particually in the Cleveland area, which is where I live when I'm not in school. I would love to do one at the Clinic, but I can't seem to find any direction online for any hospital up at home, as to go about getting in touch with anyone. Seeing as how I go to school in Dayton, my instructors don't have a lot of information on externships in Cleveland, so they basically said, find your own one, and then let us know about it! Does anyone know how I can get a hold of someone at the Clinic, or Metro, or University, or any hospital in the area for that matter, to find out some information on an externship???

The first place to try would be their web sites.

Then pick up the phone and call them. Ask to talk with the Nurse Recruiter.

I would do that right away, if I were you. The externship program that I run has an application of February 15th. Some of the best programs fill up quickly.

heart, thanks so much! I have looked all over the clinic's website for their externship program, never thinking that it might be called something else! I'm gonna work on that app this weekend and get it in ASAP!! Thanks again! :)
