Hello all! I am applying to nursing school for the fall and I am also looking for a part time job. I wanted to get the opinion of the people on the board. Assuming that I am accepted into nursing school for the fall, should I just wait until I start school to look for employment as as clinical partner, monitor tech, patient care tech/associate, etc., or should I obtain my CNA license and look for work? Thanks for the help.
I'm actually in the same boat as you. However, I completed my first year of nursing school back in June. I have been applying to pretty much every hospital in the Atlanta area looking for PCT position, but have not been successful. I'm hoping going into my final year of nursing school something will come up, but most places I have found want you to be certified. Let me know if you find anything! I keep thinking there must be some trick that I don't know to get on at a hospital :wink2:
