Loose skin subq injection

I have started giving injections during clinical and am a little concerned with my technique with injections. I know and have demonstrated a perfect subq injection on a model but the real world is much different! Both injections in clinical I have given have been on older clients with very loose skin. Is there any other technique I should be doing other than the pinch (and firm because that loose skin likes to move!)? I say loose skin but it is the actual subq layer I am injecting in, right? I just worry that I am only hitting the dermal layers.

Always pinch. The only other thing you have to decide is wether or not they have enough "subq" to either inject at 45 degrees or 90 and what size needle you need to use. There is really nothing else to know! Good Luck!
