Nursing socialization resources

Hi guys. I'm getting a head start on my term paper for my Nursing Professionalism class and I think I may have already hit a brick wall. I picked the topic of nursing socialization, specifically the socialization of nursing students and first year (graduate) nurses. I have found resources that cover the theorists include Davis and Brenner, as well as some formal research articles but I was wondering if anyone out there had any other resources, such as books, magazines, websites or anything else that could be useful in addition to research articles. I tend to find research articles quite dry and would love to spice up my paper with some information that perhaps my professor hasn't heard yet. Thanks in advance and I hope this is appropriate to ask here.

The way to do this is to look at the resources and articles that are available first. Do some reading. From those, then narrow down your topic.
