Two days ago I posted a link to a survey regarding the nursing shortage. I've had 65 responses and I had promised to post results.
25% of respondents were out of work, more than half of those from 0-6 months.
Do you feel there is a nursing shortage now where you live?
Yes- 12.3%
No- 87.7%
Do you feel there will be a nursing shortage where you live in the next 5 years?
Yes- 30.8%
No- 69.2%
It sure seems like bedside nurses aren't feeling a shortage. I thought this would be interesting, thanks for all who participated. I plan to continue the survey, anyone else who would like to participate, follow this link.
