Donating Scrubs

Nurses Uniform/Gear

Published

I have been through TWO "new" jobs in 2005 that required certain colors of scrubs. One job required royal blue (not too bad) and one job required BRIGHT red (truly hideous, esp. with white skin and red hair, I looked like a Target store.) I have tried for months to sell them, to former co-workers AND on Ebay (no takers!!) They are like new; what a waste of my money :o .

I need the room in my closet, and if can't get some money back, can I at least donate them to a worthy cause? Is there a "needy nursing" organization where people can get uniforms (like post-Katrina or a house fire) so they can go back to work? Just curious.

hi.. we my friends mom works at a emergency vet hospital.. and they got new uniforms so we collected up ALOT of scrubs, and we were going to send it to a place in africa but they didnt need that many.. so i was hoping theres some way we can send the scrubs.. casue im sure someone is in the need of sccrubs rather than collecting in our house... only problem is that its way to much money to send over the scrubs ..

my email is [email protected] email me.

thankss

I was wondering if you still accept scrubs for Africa. I have some to donate and I am in PA.

I just dropped off my old scrubs today at the Goodwill.

Some were really cute, but just too small for me now (yay, menopause...).

Also, I brought some of my old scrubs to work and anyone can use them if theirs get messy (and if they fit).

They have come in handy.

i buy a lot of scrubs at salvation army and goodwill (for like 2.50 a piece!) so i know they take donations!
