Hi,
Am a newbie here . . . . .
Am going to be moving to NY (not upstate) next year. Right now am in the process of looking for a Good School that has an LPN program that runs for a year.
Was wondering if you could recommend any.
Thanks in Advance.

The ones I am aware of are: LaGuardia Community College, Medgar Evers Community College, Bronx Community College, and VEEB. Keep in mind that most of the community colleges are very competitive and you need to earn a high GPA on your pre-requisites in order to enter their LPN programs. Most do this by taking one course at a time and if they see that they can't earn at least a B or B+ (preferably), they usually drop or withdraw from that course. And, prepare well for the NLN. They usually take the highest scores. Good luck in your search and your nursing career!
