Nursing schools in Florida?

U.S.A. Florida

Published

Hey everyone! I'm currently a pre-nursing student at the University of Florida getting ready to apply to the upper division for my BSN at the end of the summer. My top two choices are UF and the University of South Florida in Tampa.

Does anyone here have opinons on good schools for a BSN in nursing? I want to apply to more than two schools. Also, if you DID get your BSN from UF or USF, what was your experience like?

Thanks!! :)

I'm currently enrolled in the University of Central Florida's BSN nursing program. It really is a great program. I'm at the Cocoa campus, instead of main campus in Orlando. From my point of view, honestly great instructors. Good luck! :)

I am planning on applying to UCF. Love Orlando AND Cocoa in general :) I'm sure the classes are challenging, but do you feel like you get all of the help you need? Is there any particular area you're interested in?

Sorry, haven't checked back in awhile. Honestly, I am about to start my 3rd semester (out of 5) and I feel like the instructors are great and prepare students well. The program is challenging but certainly do-able. I am interested in pediatrics. Cocoa campus is great, we are much smaller. Instead of having 120+ students like Orlando we started with 37. Great number for getting to know the instructors and asking questions. :)
