Some basic ones:

1. Time management is key. Get a good planner.

2. Utilize different resources. Some sources explain it differently and may help you to better understand concepts.

3. Stay on top of your readings and don't fall behind.

4. Use your professors. They're a great resource and will most likely be willing to explain things to you in a different way if you're struggling with the material.
