nursing school spot

hi, everyone I hope someone can help answer this. My question is I applied for multiple nursing programs, but can I turn down the spot for nursing school after I have been accepted?(I emailed them that time I accepted to hold the spot) Since I got accepted to a nursing program which is closer to where I live. Thank you.

Absolutely. The only drawback will be if you put down a deposit, it may not be refundable.
