Nursing School Nightmares Book Project

Hey everyone! I've had the idea for a long time that I wanted to write a book about nursing school. I've started my project and am beginning to collect stories and submissions from people all around the country (and the world!) about their most horrific/funny/terrifying/interesting/humbling/memorable moment in nursing school.

I would love to get some submissions from the fellow nursing community on this site. Stories should vary from a few paragraphs to a few pages depending on how in depth you want to share. I am not able to pay for submissions or any royalties that the book might generate, but this might be a fun way to have a small story or moment from your life published. Anonymity will be respected unless you would like your name published with your story. I will have a brief agreement form for you to sign basically saying that you are sharing your story with me on an at will basis.

I am so excited to embark on this project and would really love to hear from my fellow nurses out there! You can be a current student, or could have graduated 30 years ago. All stories, ages, experiences are welcome. Please send inquiries to me at [email protected] and let's have some fun sharing.

So other people will be writing this but they won't get any of the money? You will be profiting from other people's ideas? Is that how I'm to understand this?

Take a bit of time to google.... there are a bazillion nursing blogs and an ever-increasing number of "books" (mostly self-published) on this topic. If you're serious, you need to be an actual author with an original voice rather than just compiling the work of others.
