Hi everyone
I just recieved a letter today with information about the orientation/interview day that is scheduled for NEXT Thursday. So I have a few questions.
-How can I best prepare myself?
-Attire?
-What can I expect?
-Do I need to bring anything with me?
Thanks everyone in advance.....also, if there's any other information you want to throw in, go right ahead!!

congratulations!! i know this is an exciting time for you. i didn't have an interview, just an orientation day, for my nursing school so i can't fully answer all your questions.
-how can i best prepare myself?
arrive a little early to find out where you are going (if you aren't already familiar with the campus). if you have any questions, write them down in order to ask if they are not answered for you.
-attire?
wear business casual. not too dressy, but look professional. dress like you would for a job interview; getting into nursing school is the first step in getting the job ... treat it that way!
-what can i expect?
you should expect to receive a lot of information at the orientation. depending on the program, you may also be introduced to the instructors or former students.
-do i need to bring anything with me?
bring pen & paper to take notes. possibly a folder to keep any papers they may hand to you.
expect to be excited!! this is a very exciting time for you!!
Thanks so much! And yes, I am very excited! Nervous, but excited. The main thing I am nervous about is how many have applied to the program. It's a 12 month program and they only have 25 seats (approximately). That's a little nerve racking but hopefully everything will work out for the best.
Thanks again for your reply!
