At this point in my life I feel like I am at a loss. I'm 21 years old and I've been studying at a university (university of Idaho) for 3 years now. I have been working on my prerequisites for a BSN program at another nearby school (Lewis and Clark state college). My first year of college was very rough for me, and my GPA has been affected because of it. I've worked for two years to raise my gpa to the minimum of 2.5, to apply to LCSC. After this semester I've realized they at a 2.49 there's nothing I can do to raise my GPA. The college factors in 5 classes, and I've received Cs in 3 of them. The college also averages redo classes. So if I received an a in them they would average to bs. My question is, what sort of options do I have to go from here? I feel completely lost... And any advice or guidance would be beneficial.
My ultimate goal was to get my BSN, then nurse practitioner, and open a facility/ work for one they does medical aesthetics like Botox and such. please let me know if you have any suggestions or comments
Your OP stated "any advice or guidance would be beneficial." People took the time and responded; however, due to them not being the "positive, encouraging comments" you seem to only want, you have become disparaging and rude.
Nice.
If you didn't want *honest* advice, don't ask. No one on here lacked caring and compassion in their responses, with the exception of you.
I just figured I would add an update to this thread, concidering the time that has passed. Shortly after writing this post I got accepted to the BSN-CEP program through Maricopa and ASU nursing in Arizona. I'm currently about to begin my second year, or third block, and have maintained a 4.0 gpa throughout. I just want let any pre-nursing student know that your GPA does not define you. Through hard work, determination, and positivity, you can make anything possible. Always trust the process, even if it means packing up all your belongings and relocating.
More importantly, however, I want to encourage the experienced nurses that post on this website to think carefully before posting recommendations. Although it may seem easy to suggest "nursing might not be for everyone" don't be so quick to discredit the hard work that pre-nursing students do. This website is meant to be an informational outlet for encouragement and guidance. Please use that responbiblity wisely.

Okay, with that outburst aside, please understand that we are trying to help you. The people on this thread are nurses and student nurses who have been there and are trying to tell you that a poor science GPA isn't going to cut it. Nursing is a science and if you struggled through those courses, you can't even imagine how hard nursing school will hit you. I don't say this to be mean or discourage you, but to ask you to examine why you did so poorly in the sciences. You said yourself that out of the 5 courses the program will look at, you got C's in 3. Unless it's a for-profit program that accepts all applicants who pay, that will not do for a reputable school.
