Hi,
I was wondering if there are nursing programs that don't say you can only have 1 or 2 prerequisites in progress when applying. I want to apply in spring for the Nursing program but I will have 3 prerequisites in progress when I apply in the upcoming spring. Sadly, I can't seem to find any schools that accept 3 or more prerequisites in progress when applying . If you guys know of any, please let me know! Oh and this is for nursing schools in California.
Thanks!

Welcome!
Since you are in CA, the nursing programs at community colleges and state universities do not need to deal with applicants who have multiple prerequisite courses in progress because so many other applicants are applying with completed prerequisite coursework.
With three prerequisites in progress, I suspect the only schools that will admit you are the investor-owned entities with nursing programs such as Kaplan, West Coast University, Unitek, Everest, Concorde, Platt, ITT Tech, and so forth. Good luck to you!
Do you know of any CSU's that will allow more than 1 prerequisite in progress? I heard there are some but I can't seem to find them.
For example, Sac state lets you apply for Spring and Fall nursing programs with only 1 prerequisite in progress but that doesn't work me for me.
The problem is that you have three prerequisite classes in progress. I do not know of any CSUs, UCs, or even any community colleges in CA that allow three prerequisites in progress.

No community college will accept you in the program if you have a class 'in progress' esp. If its one of the Sciences class, English & Math. They need your grades for this core classes they might however allow you to take other pre reqs class to be taken while in the program like Humanities& Sociology. Even private school like Unitek is strict with their pre reqs. After trying to apply in 3 community colleges with no luck i resorted to Unitek college. Will start next week. $$$$$(pricey)
Cheers??
