I have a previous Bachelors in Political Science and now i'm finishing my nursing pre-reqs at a local community college. In all, I had 8 pre-reqs to finish and i'm down to my last 3 (Micro, O-Chem and Architecture for another fine art credit).
I'm enrolled in all 3 this spring quarter, online with labs in class 1 day a week. I work full time in a professional office setting and 3 weeks into this quarter I'm struggling to stay up with the courses. I assumed Architecture would be an "easy" class but it requires a ridiculous amount of reading. Obviously so do Micro and O-Chem. I took 3 courses last Autumn but one of them was an easy class so I was able to handle 15 credit hours plus working 40-50 hrs a week.
How bad is it if I drop O-Chem and have a Withdraw on my transcript and re-enroll in it for Summer Qt? I'll be applying to my program in August, but I can still apply as long as i'm taking the course at time of application.
I'm more so worried about the Withdraw on my transcript. I think I have a good reason, wanting to get a good grade and working full time, etc. My previous Bachelors GPA is a 3.3 and my pre-req GPA so far is a 3.7, so i'd hate to ruin it with a bad O-Chem grade.
If I withdraw by Monday, I still get 25% refund on the course.
Advice?
Thanks in advance, it's much appreciated!

W's don't mean anything by themselves. Only if you have a long history of withdrawing from courses will anybody care.

Withdraw! That is an important science prereq. If you have multiple W's then it would be alarming.
