Nursing Patches?

How did you guys soak your patches before sewing it to your uniforms?

I heard 50% vinegar?

Gosh, I thought this thread was about patches specifically to aid the nurse during a busy shift, one that would transdermally emit caffeine, detrol, stuff like that?

How about lorazepam? :D

Vinegar is good for soaking new red items in to prevent bleeding-probably works on other colors too. Anyway, I know alot of my classmates patches faded but mine didn't. I don't know if they may have used bleach but we were told not to. They recommended at the Nursing Uniform Co. to use unscented detergent for whites and esp use that oxyclean detergent. I did that religiously and it was fine.
