Hello all!

I am a new member to allnurses.com and an LVN in northern California. My base taining was in emergency & surgical medicine. For the past 10 years I've been employed as an Occ-Health nurse to a major manufacturing company.

I have many questions about online colleges/distance learning. I wish to ascend to the RN ranks and it appears reading through this forum that Excelsior may be the way to go.

If I may ask any of you who have completed the Excelsior ADN program, what was your final cost & how long did it take you?

I'm a bit confused on this matter. Once the ADN degree is awarded would the next step be to take the NCLEX for RN licensing?

Do you have any suggestions, comments, please ?
