I'm applying from out of state. It seems like the phone number you're supposed to call to request a fingerprint card is always busy and disconnects the call because there are no open lines! I've tried for days.
Does anyone have any advice on how to proceed? I've half a mind to just fly out to get fingerprinted in Chicago.

I had that problem too. I just had to keep calling over and over again until I finally got through They sent my fingerprint card shortly after (about 2 weeks). So just keep calling until you get someone.
I found a decent workaround. The application comes with a list of vendors where you can get fingerprinted if you live in-state. So I called a few until I found one willing to mail me the cards. I paid $10 for 3 cards, but at least I know they're in the mail now.

Hi theatredork, unfortunately I do not have a enough posts to be able to send you a PM. However, I was wondering if the NICU at NYP hire nurses with experience in med/surg and trauma but not NICU . Is there a fellowship for such nurses? I want to apply but I am not quite a new grad but I don't have any Nicu experience.
