I've told my self several times over the years that I need to get the insurance just to cover my behind/ peace of mind, but have always put it to the back burner. Well, had a situation last night that has really brought home the fact that I need to get it. I've done a google search on it, but I was wondering, is there one that's better than another? Is there anything in particular that I need to be looking for?

NSO and Marsh (http://www.proliability.com) are the two companies I'm aware of that specialize in coverage for nurses. Some people here have mentioned getting coverage as a rider on their homeowner's insurance, but I don't know any details about that -- I'm more comfortable dealing with a company that specializes in and has lot of experience working with nurses.

There are lots of existing threads here on professional liability ("malpractice") coverage for nurses, the pros and (supposed) cons, if you want to read more opinions and discussion.

Elkpark, I was trying to do a search before I posted this thread, but mine kept bringing up all kinds of weird links.
