So I live in Jacksonville, FL and after finishing nursing school I plan on moving to Charlotte, NC. I have family in NC and have travelled back and forth but I am not sure of there hospitals. Do they have alot of nursing opportunities there? I know the average pay is more then Jacksonville. And I am honestly just tired of living here considering I've been here all my life. I really just want a new start. Any suggestions on good locations for nurses and also a great place to raise a family?:redbeathe

Carolinas Medical Center is a large hospital here in Charlotte, and they employee a ton of people. CMC Main is around 900 beds, a level one trauma center, a transplant hospital, a level III neonatal ICU, a world renowned pediatric ICU and children's hospital, and a teaching hospital. In addition, there are about ten branches of CMC in Charlotte and the surrounding area, and one or more of the branches is always hiring. There is also Presbyterian hospital, it isn't a trauma center, but it is also a very good hospital. It has more than one branch and, while they aren't hiring as much as CMC, they still have plenty of openings. You shouldn't have a problem finding a job as an RN here in Charlotte.
Thanks for the information. Ive been doing my research but u know sometimes websites can be a little decieving. I cant wait to get out of Jacksonville!
