Hi there,
My first time here as a member. Hello to all nurses ! I am 45, recently disabled due to long standing serious health issues. I had known for many years I had to LIVE my life if I wanted to get all my life goals accomplished. I have Literally LIVED outside of my comfort zone and did most of the stuff I had wanted to and am not feeling any regrets . I was informed it was unlikely for me to manage more than a part time job . Activity is great but again my disability would interfere , pain Increase damage etc ...
That was like a dare I was born a nurse and volunteered at hospital prior. Natural caregiver. After nursing school, worked six 8/hour or 12 hour shifts. Ran marathons, traveled, bought a house , kids , ran more marathons ( to and from hockey , swim team , etc ) and charity events ..
Now my mobility is greatly affected, however intermittently .. I was hoping to make some money to offset medical and living expenses . Looking for amazing ideas that would utilize my background in nursing , I am open to trying new things as well . I can drive . May be hard to be reliable when my disability is exasperated. So online or something.. ?!?
Input much appreciated.
Warmth and Smiles.

Teaching! We need more nursing faculty, lots of people are retiring ! In the next 5 years
Or you could work for Allnurses, haha! That would be a really nice online job. :)
