Hi there, My first time here as a member. Hello to all nurses ! I am 45, recently disabled due to long standing serious health issues. I had known for many years I had to LIVE my life if I wanted to get all my life goals accomplished. I have Literally LIVED outside of my comfort zone and did most of the stuff I had wanted to and am not feeling any regrets . I was informed it was unlikely for me to manage more than a part time job . Activity is great but again my disability would interfere , pain Increase damage etc ... That was like a dare I was born a nurse and volunteered at hospital prior. Natural caregiver. After nursing school, worked six 8/hour or 12 hour shifts. Ran marathons, traveled, bought a house , kids , ran more marathons ( to and from hockey , swim team , etc ) and charity events .. Now my mobility is greatly affected, however intermittently .. I was hoping to make some money to offset medical and living expenses . Looking for amazing ideas that would utilize my background in nursing , I am open to trying new things as well . I can drive . May be hard to be reliable when my disability is exasperated. So online or something.. ?!? Input much appreciated. Warmth and Smiles.
