Update: I had the interview for the cardiac floor today. While I thought that the interview went really well, I unfortunately did not get the job. I do not take this as a loss, i'm very blessed with the opportunity to even interview and it better prepared me for the next one that I'm looking forward to.

So I have 2 interviews coming up this week and I'm really excited. I've been a RN for about 6 months now, gaining my experience at and LTAC/SNF facility. I've applied for countless amounts of jobs but didn't receive any feedback because I either lacked experience or got too nervous and stammered during the interview. This month, I've finally reached the long awaited 6 month mark and I have 2 interviews scheduled. One is for the NICU unit of my dream facility on friday (1/6/17), this is my preferred job being that it's my whole reason for going into nursing and I plan on furthering my career as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner within the next 5 years. I've done a lot of research about the job description and the company and am strategically planning how I can relax and answer the questions appropriately. The 2nd one is kind of a job that has been offered to me to interview for because i'm overqualified for the nurse residency program. It's on a cardiac floor of a hospital i'm familiar with, but I would necessarily work there because I know there's a high turn over rate, not just for that unit but the hospital in general. I have that interview tomorrow (1/3/17) and I'm going back and forth in my head about going because even though it would help me get hospital experience, its not 100% where I want to work, but I don't want to pass up the opportunity just in case I don't get the other job. Any advice on what I should do would be greatly appreciated? Also any advice or tips on how to prepare for my interviews will also be welcomed.
Thanks!
