Generally, the purposes of these assignments is to get you out there talking to people you can verify are nurses. You can't do that on an anonymous message board like AN- people may claim to be nurses, but in reality they may not even be any type of healthcare professional. Also, this is your opportunity to get out there and network- sometimes it's more who you know than what you know that can help you land that first job. So where can you go to find a nurse to interact with? Your own provider's office, the local school, the public health department, nursing homes, hospitals, the possibilities are endless.

Hello everyone! I am a Pre-Nursing student attending New Mexico State University and I am doing this project as a part of a classroom exercise (not for publication).
