What is BPO? If it pays well I would stick with it.

Business process outsourcing? Payroll, HR, call center services sent to the Philippines or India.

You should first renew your license before this year ends since the Professional Regulation Commission will implement a certain number of Continuing Professional Development Units for nurses who will renew their license by 2018.
Based on my experience, as I had been an applicant bound for UK (but I opt to deferred it) my former agency didn't count volunteer experience as actual work experience. A solid 1-2 years of paid, permanent experience is required, though I am not fully aware if whether either other local Philippine agencies have the same requirement or NHS has.
Choosing to work here in the Philippines as a Nurse rather than in BPO requires a brave and bold decision. You should be aware that online shaming of doctors and nurses via social media are rampant. You also need to refresh yourself with the standards of Nursing since you're not practicing it for nearly a decade. Are you ready to face those kinds of challenges? Will your family survive with a Nurse 1 salary has? Try to talk to your family, explain to them your plans, and if they are willing to take that sacrifice with you, then go. :)
Whatever comes should you chose to be a nurse, you must endure. Happiness is not like an apple that we can buy anywhere, so you must be brave and tough to chase it. Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones that you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbour. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.
Good luck!

^ I agree with the comment above.
I've only worked as a nurse for a year, then I also got into BPO. I plan to practice nursing again this 2018.
If you are not sure yet when you would resign from your BPO job, please do renew your license before the end of this year! CPD Units=additional expense! I'm not sure if walk-ins are still allowed in PRC. If not, schedule an appointment in PRC's website now before the schedule for December runs out.
