nursing first semester

Published

Hi everybody.

I just had my first semester nursing exam. I did study really really hard and I barely passed. I am so nervous and worried because I studied like crazy and still barely passed. Please, please, If you know any websites or books that i can purchase to help me with this fumdamental of nursing I will really appreciate it. By the way, I bought One RN NECLEX book but it does not cover the chapters we are studying this semester( example: safety, activity, sexuality, Nutrition).

Sorry about the long email and looking forward to getting any help.

I don't have any advice (except not to give up) but I wanted to let you know you aren't alone. My fundamentals tests are driving me (and the rest of my class) insane. No matter how hard we study, there are several questions on each test that totally stump us. I have a 4.0 in all my prereqs and have a previous BS and an AA degree so I thought I was used to test taking but Fundamentals is rough. The material isn't difficult but the tests are whew! I made a 98 on my first Pharmacology test but I've gotten 92, 89, 92, and an 87 in Fundamentals and my grades are better than many in my class. I spoke to a good friend the other night who graduated from the program 2 years ago and she said it was her hardest class by far. Hopefully it will be that way for the rest of us.

I will have my first quiz tonight and next week is the exam. I went for help today before my first test, so I can know what to expect on the first test. The first test will consist of 23 chapters.

how did u do so well on the pharm tests? i took my first one and i made a 74 am making a's in the rest, where did i go wrong? they put 2 right answers and we have to choose the BEST one, that's where i failed, help
