Nursing exams COMPLETE!!

Just took my final nursing exam LS 3 and passed..what a relief!! Onto FCCA! I'll enjoy the break over the next couple weeks!

Just can't pass Excelsior exams!! I failed Health safety TWICE! Now on academic probation. The second time I studied HS for weeks and used SG 101 and Saunders RN. And Kaplan strategies AND Nursing process in action!! I even did the Excelsior practice exams and got about 68% on the practice exams and failed the real thing! I just don't know HOW to study for these exams!!

Any advice anyone?

Sounds like you have the right material. Would maybe suggest some test taking strategies and just working on lots & lots of questions from studygroup. Are you using the content guide?

Beginning of July. Test taking strategies I think is most useful for this exam. Questions very indirect, several SATA. Have to be able to use process of elimination

CONGRATS!!! So happy for you!!! How long would you say you studied for this exam?? What did you focus on most and what materials did you use?? Did you find it the hardest one? Thanks!!

Focused on notes I got from a yahoo group, gives good direction. Used studygroup 101. I'm not the best studier, I cram. Took 3 days off before test and studied on and off until go time. And yes..for me hardest exam. Not so much material but the amount of sata and they way the questions are worded

Go to yahoo groups, search for excelsior. There are 2 groups on there I believe. Request to be a member
