nursing essay to get accepted

Published

I am currently in the process of applying for nursing and we have to write a essay

"How I plan to be successful in completing the nursing programs".

for WCCCD and I really don't want to get turner away because I've worked so hard and pay out of pocket for every class and supplies. This would be all for nothing if I don't get accepted.

Please can someone give me some advice on how to write the essay correct?

I would take the assignment quite literally and tell them how you intend to be successful. Identify any challenges you face (time management/scheduling, funding, family or local support, etc.) and how you intend to overcome those challenges. No one can tell you how to write this correctly because we cannot answer this question - only you can say how you are going to succeed because you know what your challenges are. Best of luck to you!

I agree with the previous poster. In addition, if you currently attend a university or college, see if they have a writing lab or an English tutor who looks over papers. That way, you can write a rough draft and get someone who has a good grasp on grammar, spelling, and paper structure to review it and give you some feedback.

Sometimes when I'm stuck or have writer's block I search for other essays on the same topic. DEFINITELY NOT TO COPY. But to get some inspiration. You can really read any nursing school essay topic to help get inspiration. I would write plainly and to the point for an admissions essay. Make sure your passion and strategies come clearly across.
