Nursing Dilemna

:idea:Ok, so I'm new to the nursing forum and couldn't find a better time to join until now...

Got a question. I've been doing chemical dependency nursing for soooo long that I forgot some really important things.

what is it called when you check for leg pain in a patient by placing your palms on the sole of their feet and asking them to push towards you? (when checking for DVT and such?)

That's so funny. I work in a clinic at a university. One of the other nurses just asked that yesterday, all of us drew a blank. We had to look it up online!
