I have never been to texas planning a couple of trips out there within the next month, can you please give me some info on the area hospitals, hourly rate, and nice, family oriented, diverse sub divisions.. F.Y.I already received my endorsed licenses.

Thank you in advance,

I feel that Grand Prairie and Garland are nice. However, many people would discourage you from living in these cities because they are regarded as too industrial for their tastes. Arlington is conveniently located in the middle of everything.

Some hospitals in the area include Arlington Memorial, Medical City Arlington, Kindred, Healthsouth, Baylor Irving, Baylor Dallas, Baylor Grapevine, Baylor All Saints, and others.

I second the vote on Arlington...it is in the very middle of the metroplex and there are pocket areas which are nice for families and have good schools for the most part. The commute to Dallas from Arlington is going to be a bit longer and I swear I can't stand Dallas drivers. I feel like I'm going to end up in the trauma room every time I go to Dallas.

The commute to Ft.Worth, OTOH is not so bad.

Let me know what more specific information you want.

You might also check out Mansfield. It's close to Arlington and Grand Prairie. It's a good town to live in and commute to work from, it's growing very rapidly. They are adding lots of shopping and restaurants. I grew up there and every time we go visit my parents, there is something else that's new. They also just opened a new hospital not too long ago. Not sure if they are hiring, but it looks like a nice hospital.
