Hi! I just want to ask about the nursing curricula in the United Kingdom. How it is implemented and who implements it? And if there is a certain law that guides the curriculum? If you have any resources about the nursing curricula in uk as compared to the curricula in the us pls answer. thank youuuu

Would expect the NMC to be involved with the nursing curriculum in the UK. They will have set certain minimal hours required both clinical and theory and then expect each university to decide how the rest is spent?
Just did a google search and this came up

Universities will have to sign off that the student meet certain requirements. Also the UK training is specialised opposed to generalized like the US

Yes i agree, the NMC approves nursing education and also it has to meet the EU directive for nursing

This will give you an indication, but when applying to any university, find out there protocol , my uni did clinical's in every department so make sure you get this and not just theory! You never know when you might need it , especially if you are from the U.S
