Quick question to all: does anyone have any websites/links to show just how competitve nursing is getting? I have to convince my counselor as to why I should be approved to become an advanced prax nurse (sepcifically, a CRNA), and I need to submit information as to why nursing with an ADN or BSN makes me not as competitive as I could be.
For example, one competitve aspect that I have showed to my counselor thus far is: My goal is to become a CRNA. Even though I am almost done with my ADN and plan to get my BSN, I must have an MSN (at least) to become a CRNA. Therefore, in order to be "competitive" as a CRNA, I need an MSN (even though its also a requirement).
All I find are things from the U.S. Bureau of Labor and Stats to show that nursing is a "growing field". If any further info is needed to help me out, please ask! Thank you!
