  1. I just got into the Nurse Aide program. I'm excited...does anyone have career advice or tips? What should I know about being a CNA that they may not tell me in class???

Congrats and welcome to! There is a CNA forum under the "students" board tab with lots of information. Go say Hi, and I'm sure you'll get lots of helpful advise.

If your school offers additional courses in EKG and phlebotomy, take advantage of it. Most that have done this have gotten positions as a Patient Care Technician/Associate at hospitals. And, phlebotomy is a good skill to have. I am an LPN now, and still draw blood frequently.
