Specializes in OR,ER,med/surg,SCU.

Yup, praying one night, lightning bolt, told to be a nurse. Thought surely He had missed and meant for the woman next door to become a nurse, she was lots smarter and much more compassionate, but no it was for me. So I'm a nurse. No, definetly not passive. Yes, do know this is a carreer, a job, and am a natural leader not a follower. Talking about not being in the majority here:eek: oohh, well:roll That' s why I became a nurse.

Most of my friends just laughed when I told them I got my place to study for my nursing diploma.

I decided to go for it as a career move following being a massage therapist and wanting to take the care aspect forward.

Now I've been on clinical placement I know I don't want to do anything else.

Just trying to decide which area I want to land a job in when I qualify.

No brit nurse does it as a career move as the money ain't good but I hear what you're saying Dplear. We need to get our hearts off our sleeves if we want to progress the pay issue.
