nursing c.a.p. program

Has anyone here done the C.A.P (clinical advancement program) for your hospital...Im interested in hearing more about anyones experience...any insight would be helpful. I am currently about to begin this project and topic my partner and I have chosen is "team huddles" for our unit. I know most hospital systems use team huddles and its just a great way to start the shift with important updates and build the morale for the shift.

My hospital has a CAP program, but it is not related to huddles, we have those to, but they are a part of AIDET...

For CAP you have to apply, write bunches of stuff, make a portfolio, be on a SDM committee, or involved with unit based quality improvement, and submit all that info and if you get CAP level 3, you get a 1.50 hr raise. I am working on my portfolio...kind of like nursing school but more pratical. It's not too bad.:redbeathe
