I am a nursing student, and I wanted to know what are some of the benifits of being a nurse?:nurse:

flexibility, (Where else can you get a job doing PRN /as needed basis)? job security, numerous nursing career choices, variety of settings and places, Health insurance, 401 k's , retirement plans like IPERS, income,.......this is all what I find beneficial.

The possibilities of which field of healthcare to work in are endless.

It is one job that people like me in sort of the middle of nowhere in Iowa can still find.

The pay isn't the worst.

You can work about any shift you want.

You get to wear scrubs and be comfy.
