Government Regulations on Health Care

Nurses Activism

Hello. I have a question for those of you who are concerned about the government. What would you say are the pros and cons of the government regulating health care?

Any answers given will be appreciated. Thank you.

I am very glad for licensure laws regulating physicians, nurses, and other providers.

I am glad that hospitals, clinics, skilled nursing facilities, and such have licensing regulations.

These need to be improved and enforcement must improve too.

Better the government that private industry who's bottom line is MONEY.Maybe the next administration will be a government we can TRUST to do the right thing for the American people instead of special interests and the Free Market pirateers.

I always thought we were fortunate to have safe water to drink and safe food in my country.

Even imports, such as Norwegian sardines and Russian caviar were safe.

Sanitation standards need to remain strict with more inspections as the corporate monopoly can distribute to the whole country. And imports have all kinds of poisons.

We need to protect our people from being poisoned.

And surprise inspections to stop these "clinics" and "centers" from having unlicensed anesthesia providers and dirty facilities. Laws are useless unless they are enforced.

There are too many of us to do without the laws and regulations.
