No, it's not a typo... one week just isn't enough time to show our appreciation for all that nurses do so we've kicked off our National Nurses Week contests early!

This year, our contests are even bigger than before. We're starting the celebration today with a fun "Fill in the Blank" contest which features two $250 Amazon.com gift cards for the most creative submissions. Early next week we'll launch the second contest and the contests and giveaways will keep coming so you'll want to keep checking back and entering to increase your chances of winning those big prizes!

Fear not, though, because if you don't win one of the $250 prizes you're still eligible to win one of the following items shown in the photo below and more...

Someone injured on the floor...naked.

Specializes in Pediatrics, Pediatric Float, PICU, NICU.

...my reason to quit.

That there is a code brown!! And I'm not talking about a little!

That the patient expired

That my patient has lost their artificial eye somewhere in the room and I start to break out in a sweat because I distinctly remember hearing a crunching sound under my foot when I came into the room!

The patient in bed with girlfriend and wife comes in with a vengeance. While minor children are there to see their father. Whom told them that he was dying.

The patient bleeding from their incisions

The patient on the floor with their roommate laying on top of them.

I hope I don't find my NPO patient eating a Big Mac!!!!

The resident fingerpainting their face with bm. (True story from my shift tonight)!

c diff diarrhea splattered all over the wall and floors.
