No, it's not a typo... one week just isn't enough time to show our appreciation for all that nurses do so we've kicked off our National Nurses Week contests early!

This year, our contests are even bigger than before. We're starting the celebration today with a fun "Fill in the Blank" contest which features two $250 Amazon.com gift cards for the most creative submissions. Early next week we'll launch the second contest and the contests and giveaways will keep coming so you'll want to keep checking back and entering to increase your chances of winning those big prizes!

Fear not, though, because if you don't win one of the $250 prizes you're still eligible to win one of the following items shown in the photo below and more...

that the baby is crying and the baby has a dirty diaper...

sitting on the commode bleeding like a stuck pig after they've pulled their catheter out with the balloon still inflated

The patient hanging out the window with feces all over them and their room.

That they've pulled out their Foley catheter with the bulb still blown up.

That your patient has the call bell wrapped around their neck and stating "if you dont get me out of here, im gonna kill myself"

Then i gladly prepare them for transfer to ER for evaluation. Another life saved!

A patient with a pulled IV, Foley, tube of any kind!

ANY new bodily fluids on the bed that weren't there last time I checked on them.

My NPO patient eating a sandwich.

That my patient actually didn't mean to press it because he was really trying to build a fort at the top of the bed with pillows, blankets and the call light, since that is the only place he can't be seen.. because he thinks the "man" is watching him and plotting to pick him up tonight

the doctor passed out on the patient while doing a procedure!

That they aren't naked
