Nurses Week; allnurses appreciates its' community!

In honor of Nurses Week, I reflect upon what I have learned about the community at allnurses.com the past 12 months of this pandemic.

Nursing is truly a noble profession filled with altruistic individuals.  I am so honored to be a part of a community that not only helps people while at work but also on their free time and into retirement.  Not only do many of you show kindness and passion for strangers’ health while on the job, you also share your knowledge to help students and new nurses by answering questions and giving advice on allnurses.com when you are home from work or after you retire.  Thank you for that!!

During this pandemic, in the face of the unknown, this selflessness and strength is so inspiring.  I have said this before, but worth repeating ..... I can only imagine how wonderful the world would be if every employee, in every profession, approached their daily work with the dedication and passion that our allnurses community approached daily work.  Our world in general would be so much kinder and gentler. ❤️
