Recently, I find that I am constantly overwhelmed by stress. What de-stresses me is listening to a bit of music.

Hmmm, I am not sure what to do about my stress and feelings of being over-whelmed. All I can do is all I can do. I am one person and I can't always do what I want to do in the time I want to do it. Time for a vacation and to clear my head.

I take deep breaths to relax a bit. If it doesn't work, I go to the bathroom, take more deep breaths and remind myself why I chose to be a nurse!
Last week, I watched a documentary called "Jiro Dreams Of Sushi". It was about an 85-year old Japanese sushi chef who has been doing his job for almost 70 years and he loves every minute of it. With hardwork and repetition, his sushi bar is now considered the best in the world.
It's best to watch it before your work day. Really great motivating piece!

I would play relaxing piano music (from my phone and headphones) and sit by myself at lunch by a large window and look outside at the trees/birds. This would usually do the trick. I would also read or browse AN while listening to the music.
My new job isn't as stressfull. If I do have a moment of stress I take a deep breath, step back a moment and think how I can prioritize and organize myself out of the hecticness.
