I was tested on May 11th and after 15 days, still no results posted. I was not concerned the test would be positive, but did not want to have a "no show" on my record. Contacted Firstlab and no record of test submission. Fortunately, I was able to provide my copy of chain of custody form. A few days later, BON contacted due to missing a test and asked for written copy of reason why. I again had to contact Firstlab to follow up and provide BON with copy of COC form. Suspiciously, after 22 days, the very next day my specimen "showed up" at lab and was tested. Reason- lost somewhere in FED- EX.

Morale of story- be sure to always keep copy of your chain of custody form.

I have all of them for the past 4 years 8 months. Just try me! Lol

Stories like this scare the pants off me! I am so close to the end (64 days!) and am so afraid something like this, some unfounded accusation, some paperwork error, some false positive drug screen, will screw things up right before I finish! I have been keeping my COC forms after I test, but only long enough to see the "negative" result show up in Affinity, then I throw them away. I don't know if that's good enough or not, but that's what I've been doing. I can't wait to be done! It's like those scary shows where a woman is running away from the murderer, they show a big long chase scene, she almost gets away, then at e VERY LAST SECOND, just as she is climbing out of a basement or a pit or up a ladder or something, he grabs her ankle! Oh god please don't let TPAPN grab my ankle! I really want out of this monitoring pit!

Exactly, I just a hit two years and am afraid to start a daily count down. Don't want to conjure up the demons from the monitoring pit. I have had a false positive but it was cleared. Finally got test results in from June 7th. Option 4 has been coming back in 4 to 5 days. This time 10. Had me worrying and angry. If I took as long to care for my patience as they take to get drug results back to us I definitely would lose my nursing license.
