I am refreshing my license after almost 8 years of having babies....
Trying to study pharm, nursing math etc again after all this time. I swear I am wondering if my brain still works. I am having some confidence issues :uhoh21: about going on the floor in a couple of weeks.
Feeling like a student. Wanting to get there early and look up all my pts meds etc before I hit the floor. I suppose this is good. I am super safety conscious. I'm just wondering if it was this tricky for anyone else I suppose and looking for some pats on the back... :)

I think once you get back on the floor alot of it will come back to you. Getting into the swing of things as far as prioritizing as well as any new technologies may take some time, but I'm sure it will all come back to you.

Good for you!! Going back into it may not be easy, but it will most likely come back to you. Being super safety conscious is a good thing! Don't let the new technologies throw you -- there are alot of new toys out there -- you can do it! WELCOME BACK!!:)
thanks for your fine words of encouragement..............
I think that my concern is around the fact that I am having such a hard time focusing.
I am one of those folks who learns so much in lecture....so here I am singing the names of drugs in my kitchen...If i study in the library it's too quiet...LOL
I can just see myself in the so quiet you could hear a pin drop library....LA LA LA - Depakote valproic acid...yea yea...it's an antiepileptic that you give po or IM...lala...don't give more than blah blah blah...you get the picture...I think the men in the white coats would come and pull me out of there.
So here's to reconstituting dormant brain cells.....:)
