I have to say I did not have a good experience with a nurse at Disney Orlando. My son tripped and a piece of bamboo gouged a chunk out of his leg. It was also full of dirt! At the first aid station, I asked the NP if we could clean it and she said they do not keep anything there to clean wounds....WHAT???? She did find a bottle of peroxide, handed it to me, left the room, and I never saw her again. We made a trip to the local ER where his wound was cleaned, packed with surgi-foam, and he got a tetnus shot. Needless to say, I was very disappointed with Disney that day.
