NURSE VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR NORTH TEXAS FLOOD AREAS

Ready Texas Nurses has been advised that volunteers are needed to assist the flood victims in North Texas.

At this time nurses are needed to work in the Wichita Falls and Gainesville areas. Volunteers will be working in one of the following areas:

(1) Providing care in the shelter; or

(2) Teaming with Red Cross volunteers and making home visits to assess medical/mental health needs

Nurses are needed to begin immediately and will be needed for at least a week. Local nurses can work single shifts, however, if you are traveling to the area you are requested to commit to a minimum of 3 days and up to 7 days.

Phone # (s) where you can be reached during the next 12 hours. Indicate, work or cell phone

Email Addresses – where you can be reached both day and night

Where you will be traveling from (City – mileage can be reimbursed)

When you can leave

How long you can stay

If you are local, when are you available
