Hello! Was wondering if someone could assist me in writing for my nurse III at the VA. I have 5 dimensions (Practice, Veteran/Patient Driven Care, Leadership, Professional Development, Evidence-Bases Practice/Research). Thank you!

Hello,

I would like some help also. Now that there is no longer a nursing board, I keeping hearing it's virtually impossible to make Nurse 3. I've had my MSN for 5 years and currently an ANM for 1.5 years. I've joined several committees and currently an instructor for PMDB. Not really sure how much more I can fit on my plate. :( Thanks

Where I work, nurse III seems to be impposible. I was hired as an MSN, was an active participant on two committes, attended conferences, wrote and edited several policies, and implemented a project, yet I was denied Nurse III. So, I quit the committes, I'm not doing any extra work, and I'm not attending any more conferences. My new favorite word is no.

I hear you and completely understand. I keep telling myself just alittle bit longer. My promotion/anniversary date is in April. If I don't get it then I'm going to rethink my current position. It's not worth headache and all the BS.!!
