Nurse Staff Agency Info PLEASE

Published

Hi Everyone. I am the owner of Caring Heart Home Care Solutions it is a Non-Medical Home Care Company in and near Columbus, Ohio. We are trying to add Nurse Staffing for facilities and assisted living communities beginning in January. We have done a lot of foot work and the only real issue we are having is the staffing or bill rate for the facility or community? I know what to pay nurses and STNA's but can't really find much detail on rates to be competitive? I have seen articles where they say it is an 150% mark up but we want to not steal from the companies and really help them continue quality care at an affordable cost? If anyone has any real honest information, please share! Thank You in advance.

Specializes in CCRN.

When I was a nurse manager at a LTACH, agencies charged us about $56-$62 an hour. That was in Pennsylvania.

Oh wow? That seems so high? I appreciate your response!
